TPPP Episode 54 : Grieving Without God

Welcome to another episode of The Podunk Polymath Podcast! This week in the pre-ramble, I talk about my experiences at Kentucky Freethought Convention. I had a great time, and I got to meet some great people, including past guest Warren Alan Tidwell as well as the author of the Charles Chilton Moore biography ‘The Most Hated Man in Kentucky’! I also got to hang out with some old friends, namely AJ, Jen, Mandisa, Johnny, Brittany, and the Crails! The Crails were kind enough to let me stay the weekend and they even let me ride with them to Louisville! And I got out alive! Seriously though I owe them a debt of gratitude and hopefully I will be able to pay it back someday.

On the palaver I speak with Carrie Hazel about how she dealt with the loss of her husband while being an atheist. The story is heartbreaking, and I am so honored that she took the time to talk to me about the process she went through, her feelings, and what the future holds. If you have dealt with grief, even if not from a secular point of view, she gives some great advice on how to deal with it. I learned much from her, and I hope you will as well.
